Determining the Right Location for your Marijuana Business

Last Updated on Aug 4, 2017

It is no secret that the marijuana industry is taking off in the United States. Colorado was the first state to legally sell recreational marijuana and the state continues to reap the benefits (including a windfall in tax revenue pouring in from people who operate a marijuana business) of this change in policy. However, Colorado is not alone and there are many more opportunities available for those who want to get in on this growing industry.

A number of municipalities in states throughout the U.S. are keen to capitalize on legal marijuana. There are several cash strapped cities located throughout California that are looking to the revenue generating potential of marijuana business. One of these cities is San Jacinto, which is located in the Inland Empire area of California.

San Jacinto is just one of several cities that is looking to cash in on the legal market for marijuana. The city of San Jacinto has recently approved zoning for commercial marijuana operations . The current city council is working through the fine print of the laws and considering all of the benefits that will come with allowing the cannabis industry to expand in their city.

San Jacinto is joined by several other cities in California that have plans for offering applications to people who intend to open a marijuana business. Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs, Adelanto, and Cathedral City are all cities that have seen the benefits of proactively encouraging marijuana businesses in their municipalities rather than remaining in prohibition. With all of the positive outcomes across different states and in different cities, the opportunities to benefit from the growth of the cannabis industry are immense.
